However if you want to add a bit of sparkle to your wedding band then it is important to reflect some design elements that were used in your engagement ring to tie the two together. You could use the same diamond cut, the same setting or if you have accent stones then make sure they start at the same place on the wedding band. Lastly, if you don’t like the idea of having a gap between your two rings then the wedding band can be designed with a curve to mimic the shape of your engagement ring.
